Remarks
I got admission to the college through REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process). That helped me secure a seat in computer science. I visited college for filling the REAP form and was guided through the process.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty members here are very supportive and we get proper labs as well. The curriculum of RTU sometimes seems useless but teachers guide with practical advice. There have been 3 mid terms before the main exams and they cover 1/3rd of the curriculum each. That way final exams become easy to cover.
Internships Opportunities
In the mid of the pandemic was the time where we needed an internship and at that time it was not possible being a physical intern at any company. Few students who were previously interning got offers from the same company. For other students college arranged training through coursera and some other online courses.
Placement Experience
Right after we completed our 6th semester we got to sit in a campus placement drive for Mitsuru. And after that one by one many companies are coming till date. I got placed early and did not sit into interviews anymore. Though various companies coming to college doesn't allow students having backlogs and a low percentage in 12th still students do get chances in some other companies. College doesn't guarantee a package but it does guarantee a job offer.
Fees and Financial Aid
For our batch, the fees have been 77,000 per year and it has not been increased for our batch yet. The college has a scholarship scheme based on the percentage of marks in RTU examinations which offers up to 100 percent scholarship. Some changes have been made to that policy for newer batches but it has not been changed for old students. Apart from that, there are various additional scholarships for which anyone can opt.
Campus Life
Prior to the COVID pandemic, we had a technical and cultural fest called ECHOES every year around March. And there had been fresher's party for 1st, 2nd-year students and farewell party for final and pre-final year students. A sports meet is announced every year around February and some events happen occasionally like celebrity visits, hackathons, etc There's a canteen, library, large garden and big campus. And there were many clubs like dramatics, dance, singing, etc.
