MSRUAS college review

I got admission to this college via kcet one of the entrance exam conducted by the Karnataka board. The branch I got is cse, if you want to get this college your ranking should be below 60000, for computer science it should be below 15k. After getting allocated to the college u will have to pay the 1st year fee in the main branch that is msrit from 2nd year it can be a pain in msruas. All the entrance exams date will be provided on kcet office website. To avail of the reservation benefits, there is a separate category while called reservation where u can select your category based on that u will get the benefits.

I choose computer science because cs is the booking domain in engineering and it's the basis of all the domains. In cse department, there are almost 30 teaching staff and 20 non-teaching staff who will be our lab guide. All the teaching faculty members are Ph.D. graduates or Ph.D. pursuing graduates. In each section, there will be at most 70 Students and in one branch there will be max of 3sections. In each sem there will be 3 internals and 2 assessment, out of 3 best 2 will be considered. Tests and assignments will be conducted at the time as promised. Passing internals is not difficult but coming to assignments they really have a tough assignment paper and they strictly dont appreciate copying. All u need to do in an assignment is apply your theoretical knowledge and practically apply it. The assignment will really give you an ample amount of knowledge.

Placement will start from 6th sem 3rd year. Lots of companies come to take students. They have international placements as well. The lowest package offered here is 3lpa and the highest Indian placement is 14lpa. The international placements package ranges from 21lpa to 30lpa. Companies like L and T, kickdrum, Wipro, Infosys, deollite, Mindtree, Tech Mahindra, TCS, and many other companies will come. Format of attending placement is if u get selected by a company with xlpa then u r eligible to attend the other company only if it offers x+5 lpa. The average package is 4lpa. At least 85 percent of Students get placed from college if you dont get placed in your academic year they will provide you the chance to participate in placement next year as well. After getting a degree I would definitely love to work in mnc companies.

College fees are comparatively less than other colleges' 34000 + cet fees(56000 for my batch). They won't take any other fees like the exam fee, everything is included in that 34000. Yes, we do receive scholarships from the government that is ssp scholarship we received in 18200 every year, the application will be available in the month of march on the official website ssp.scholershio.com. Coming to the hostel every month 3k and whole year hostel fee is 45k and you get reimbursed at the end. I got placed in Mindtree and the stipend is 26k per month.

Akira culture fest in the even sem of all 4 years in the month of June or July. Aadhya technical fest conducted in the month of Nov or December. Hackers coding club every once or twice a month they conducted coding competition. The library consists of all the books necessary for academics and it even has competitive books and other journals written by famous people. The monthly magazines and daily newspapers will also be kept. Projects done by seniors are stored in separate rows for juniors to refer it. There is a blood donation camp conducted by NSS every year. We do have an outside tour for 1 day in the 2nd year this tour is to spread social knowledge or to help the needy.
