SIR MVIT college review for B. E(MECH)

I took the KCET exam which can only be applied by some students as it's Karnataka enterance trst which requires domicile. The application can be filled online from kea website. The exam takes place usually in the month of May - July. After the exam usual college filling choices and documents verification takes place and there are a total of 4 rounds one mock round, two normal rounds and one extended round students can acquire college only from the next three rounds mock is just to show which college you might get according to your preference actual may differ.

Mechanical engineering is a very vast subject it allows you to have a wide variety of choices and upon that the interest in cars drives me towards it. The faculty of sir mvit is very good the faculty student ratio is also very well there is a total of 1:30 ratio in my department

Internship in our college is not on that great level many companies approach college with avg stipend of around 40-50 thousand also the college gives vast opportunity to students to go for an internship outside the campus and get exposures to the industry.

From semester 6 onwards students can take a placement on campus as well as outside campus. The in campus placement of sir mvit is one of the best in bangalore with 85-90% success ratio with the campus placement only. Companies such as TCS, L&T, INFOSYS, WIPRO, MICROFOCUS, TARGET, etc provide opportunities to the students to get placed. The highest package of our college is 31 lakhs by MEDIA.NET and avg package goes around 5-7 lakhs p.a. 80-90% get placed in campus placement itself and many go to abroad for higher studies. My plan after the degree is to go for higher studies in abroad.

The fees structure for the kcet students is around 70-80 thousand per year there is another admission is known as comedk there the fees range from 2.2-2.5 lakhs per year and comedk can be written by students all over india. Scholarship such as SSP and NSP are applicable In the college. For the students who are elegible to acquire it.

There are lots of fests taking place in our colleges such as KALANJALI, VERVE, UNDER 25 and many more excluding that many branches have different fest throughout the year There are a lot of college groups like DEBSOC for debating, PIRATES for dancing there are no singing and vocabulary groups as well in the college providing platform for everyone to grow. The library in sir mvit provides books and literature of all kinds for students to gain knowledge. The sports amenities in the college are really good we have all sorts of facilities such as indoor badminton grounds kabbadi and other indoor sports and we have football and cricket fields also.
