The admission process in this college is quite simple. If you have scored decent marks in Jee, you would get a direct entry into the college and if the eligibility criteria don't match, then you have to give the entrance test of the college and have to score at least above 40% to get admitted. There are no reservation benifits for this entrance examination. You can get the application form from the website and also by visiting the college. Overall the college is good, but there is always a scope for improvement like the sports should be given more priority and infrastructure should be developed.

I think the course curriculum should be upgraded more to the industry level. It is more theoretical less practical. The faculty members are good and well qualified and the faculty: student ratio is also quite nice. They are always there to address the problems of students and to solve them. But they should focus more on practical and industrial knowledge rather than only theoretical knowledge. Our exams were conducted once in 2 months which is known as Mid Semester Examination and once in 6 months which is known as the End Semester Examination. I would rate the difficulty of both the examinations as 7/10, not too difficult to pass the exams

As compared to placement opportunities the internship opportunities is quite low in the college. Till now only 2-3 opportunities have come before us and I hope more of them will come in the coming days.

Placements are very good as compared to the fees of the college. The students become eligible for the placements from the 7th semester and many companies visit the campus to hire students from different background. The average package of our college is around 4-4.5 lpa and highest gone this year is 10lpa which is for CS students for the profile of Software developer. The placement ratio is also good, almost 70-80% of the students get placed every year and due to high demand in IT sector this year this percentage has gone up. I have four offers in hand currently, and highest package offered to me till now is 7lpa with Systems Engineer role.

The fee structure of the college is quite good. The fees are neither too high nor too low and cost around 75000 per year and an extra 14000 for the bus facilities (which is optional). There is a very good opportunity for the students who score good CGPA, like for the students who score between 8-9 CGPA get the scholarship of 40% on the tution fees and the students who score above 9 CGPA get the scholarship of 60% on the tution fees. And also there are scholarships for the students who come under the reservation category as per the government norms. Our college provides financial assistance to students who are brilliant and built different projects and participate in different competitions which motivates them to do more such kind of stuff and learn more.

I like the social life of our college. There are many events conducted throughout the year and the biggest one is Spandan which is our annual fest which is of 3 days. Apart from this many events and cultural programs are being conducted on a regular basis and students who are interested in any cultural or extracurricular activity can join the respective club. Frankly speaking, I haven't visited the Library much so don't know about the availability of books and journals. The sports and extra curricular activities of the college is average. Sports has not been yet developed to that standard. It should be given more priority and grounds should be made to play the outdoor games. There are many social groups and clubs in the college like Dance club, Music club, Art club,etc. and I am in one of the clubs named Riyaz - The Music Club and all the clubs are runned by students.
