I got admission to this colege via kcet Karnataka state entrance exam. You will get mechanical engineering if your ranking is below 100000. if you want cse or ec your ranking should be below 50000. The application form of kcet is available on kcet official website, regarding the college admission process we will have to enquire about the college as it changes every academic year. I got obc reservation benefits, you can avail of this benefit by selecting obc in kcet application form and by submitting your caste certificate while boarding counseling. In the 1st year, you should pay college fees at college and cet fees at cet cell, from next year you can pay both cet and college fees together at college. Getting admission to this college is easy via kcet.

I choose mechanical engineering because it is an evergreen domain and I am more intrested in the hardware part. there are about 25 teachers in our department and in each section there are around 45 to 50 students, each department has 3 sections. All teachers are Ph.D. holders and the minimum requirement is they should have done post-graduation. All teachers are well experienced and they teach very well, they have more practical knowledge. This is VTU based college where exams and tests will be conducted by the government of Karnataka and the final exams paper will be evaluated by other college professors. Papers are a bit difficult to pass.

Placements start from 7th sem 4th year, all the students of 7th semester get pre placement training session where they will teach aptitude adn other behavioural classes. Companies like TCS, Infosys, wipro, Tech mahindra, IBM, Amazon, Hp, Accenture, Capgemini, Oracle, HCL, Juspay will come recruite students. Highest salary is 10lpa and lowest salary is 2lpa and average salary is 4lpa. Atmost 50 percentage students gets placed in camous recruitment. After getting degree will get placed in good industry based company.

Total fees to be paid per year is 80500 (including cet fee) upon this you will have to pay seperate exam fees upto 1300 this don not include retake or backlog fee this has to be paid seperately. Yes we get scholership from Karnataka government ssp scholership. Notice will be cerculated in the college about the scholership and last date to apply. We have placement opputunities in campus where more than 20 companies come to recruite students. Placements will start from 7th sem 4th year, seperate training for placements will be provided by college to all 7th sem students.

Akruthi is the college cultural fest conducted every year, each and every department has its own cultural and tech fests also. All the books will be available in the library we can borrow 2 books and the time given to return or renew it will be 1 week. Classrooms have more space with limited number of students, labs have projector which makes teaching easy. Every year we have sports day celebrations where many sports events will be conducted. Other cultural events like flash mob, music competetions will be conducted in the campus. Blood doantaion camp will be conducted. College is very huge with individual building for each department.
