Remarks
CUT off for admission is quite high at Menon, one needs to have more than 75%, if looking to get admission in Menon College, Bhandup. Infrastructure can be improved as it is a very old building but maintained.
Course Curriculum Overview
Good interest in Accounting and Management, there is 1 teacher to every 60 students, Well qualified faculty having education like M.Phil, PhD, CA, etc., Exams were difficult to pass as you get very less time for preparation and you have many assignments and projects during the course.
Internships Opportunities
Companies offered internships as Analysts, Senior executives in Marketing, Finance and other domains. Students learnt too much stuff during their placements and become job ready. Placed on many projects of Marketing and outcome was great indeed.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester students become eligible for placements, companies like Wipro, TCS, Accenture, HCL participate in placement. The highest package went up to 5 LPA and the average was 3lpa. More than 80% of students were placed. I was already working hence didn't require any placement assistance.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year one can see a 10% hike in fees and which is very much justified with the inflation rate in India However, affordable for any class. Most of the students were placed to big Organizations like Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc.,
Campus Life
Annual fest in every January, Library is too good but one needs to return whatever books they have taken within the deadline otherwise too much of late payment of fees are charged.
