Remarks

I got admission by giving cet exam for lateral entry students. All diploma holders are eligible for lateral entry, but the good rank is a requirement to get admission in good college. The admission procedure starts in mid february and exam is in the end of march. All the admission related information is available on "ipu.ac.in". Overall 3-4 thousand was paid in the before admission for exam and counselling. The user interface of the ipu admission site is quite interactive. By the end of june, the admissions are almost done. The choice filling is availed soon after the declaration of result of the cet exam. There were 5 rounds of counselling. After getting selected in the college, you are required to pay Rs 40,000 to print the allotment letter. Then, the rest of the fees, around Rs 88,800 is paid to the respective college after visiting the college for the document verification process. The lowest rank for this college was 125, and the highest was 451. The placement is far better than other.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because I am interested in computers and programming . The faculty in this college is quite good and helpful. They are qualified as well as knowledgeable in their respective field of expertise. The mid terms as well as end terms are average to hard. The end term exams are held in may for even semesters and in december for odd semesters. Almost all the teachers are Ph.D holders. Information technology course includes important subjects like data structure, algorithm design and analysis and communication systems. This course helps you get into an IT firm with a good package. Due to the pandemic, the education is really effected. It makes it hard to get a grasp of subjects like communication systems with practical applications.

Placement Experience

4

The placement of the college is quite good. The average package of year 2021 is around Rs 7 lakhs per annum. The highest package was around Rs 39 lakhs per annum offered by Amazon and the lowest package was around Rs 3.5 lakhs per annum offered by mass recruiting companies. Some of the companies that are coming from last three to fours years are Amazon, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, CommVault, Wipro and Collegedunia. Around twenty one students were placed in ZS Associates with package of Rs 10 lakhs per annum. Also sixteen in accenture and eleven in cognizant with package of Rs. 6.5 lakhs per annum. Amazon selected students with a package of Rs 38 lakhs per annum and Rs 39 lakhs per annum. CommVault also selected students with package of Rs 39 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000 per year. There is financial assistance as well as 100% scholarship given by the Delhi goverment on a Merit Cum Income basis. There is also a scheme of financial assitance for students with low financial income. The overall fees of four years of Bachelors of technology are around Rs 5,00,000 to Rs 6,00,000, but for a lateral entry student, the course duration is three years instead of four which saves one year worth of fees. The placement is also good here. Amazon, Accenture, commvault, Infosys and TCS are some of the top companies that are coming from the last 3-4 years. Almost 50-60 percent of students get good placement every year. The average package in 2021 was around 7 lakhs per annum. The top package was 39 lakhs per annum by amazon and the lowest was 3.5 lakhs per annum. Some of the top offers were for SDE and ASE. Last year the highest package was 43 lakhs per annum in Microsoft.

Campus Life

3.5

There have been many gatherings in the college before the pandemic. In the first (third for lateral entry students) semester, a freshers party is held for freshers and in the final semester, a fair well party is held to wish good luck to all students for their better futures. Corona fest was one of the eye catching fests. The best place for peaceful study in the library. It has enough books and magazines as well. There are many extracurricular like sports day which is conducted here. There are many student clubs like CSI, D2C Igniters club and many other technical clubs as well as dancing or singing clubs as well. The classrooms have projectors as well to provide a better learning experience to students. The overall infrastructure is good with a good number of laboratories as well. The college has a programming lab, software engineering lab, communication system lab and many others for different departments. So, overall the classrooms are good, the faculty is good and the activities are held as well

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.
