Eligibility criteria: for B.tech you need to pass 12th with a qualifying exam i.e JEE mains/GUJCET. APPLICATION: You can apply for GUJCET through its website. But don't forget to enrol in ACPC. You need to enrol separately for ACPC, just like you do for Jossaa for jee. If you will not get into ACPC counselling then it will be very difficult to get into this college. So do keep track on the ACPC website along with GUJCET/JEE mains. The application form fee changes every year but it will be no more than 400/exam. The dates of opening and closing of the registration process are highlighted on the official website do not fall prey to fake news and fake websites. There is reservation for Non creamy layer and ST/SC so if you fall in that category do have that certificate verified from respective govt. Authoritiy. There will be lot of benifit if you have that certificate. I don't fall under any of the above categories so I was not benifited. The process is to lengthy and needs paitence to get through

The semester at DDU is divided into 3 teaching phases. In each phase, 33%of the syllabus will be completed. And at the end of every teaching phase, there will be an exam called the sessional exam. Then it will be 40 marks. The avg. Marks obtained in all 3 exams will be calculated and will be termed as your internal exam scores. At the end of the semester, you will have an external exam. Which will be of 60marks theory + 40marks internal. The question papers are moderate level and easy to score above 8CPI. But in internal exams, you will feel that time is very less to answer the questions.

Many scholarships are provided in the college such as MYSY, RELIANCE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP, TATA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP etc. But they are all for families with weak financial backgrounds. If you score well in your GUJCET then you need not worry about scholarship because of Govt. Itself pays your fees. You just need to 2500/year. So try and score well in GUJCET. 80-100 marks will be a great score in GUJCET. Currently, I am in 1st year so I have been not placed in any company but what I hear from seniors is that the college offers placement in 3year. And if you are good in your internship the company can offer you PPO(PRE PLACEMENT OFFERS) the placement at DDU is decent for CS/IT/ECE/CHEM./IC. Usually, 90% get placed.

If we come to the festival part at DDU you might get upset. There is only one festival at DDU that is "FELICIFIC" that to since corona has entered in our life we haven't enjoyed it. FELICIFIC is celebrated in February. There is a huge library on Campus in which you will find all books related to your studies. Coming to Classrooms they are quite huge and AC in are available in classes... There is also a special auditorium for any event or seminar. Sports and extracurricular activities happen frequently but the facilities for sports are not that great. There are many clubs at DDU where you can participate and improve your skills. Some of them are Photography, Singing, Sports, Debate and many more. You will surely learn new things in these clubs.

The PG and hostel facilitate are easy to access at they are very near to our hostel. DDU is located on the road called college road and just near to that there is vaniyavad where you can rent a PG and just behind DDU, there are a lot of hostels for boys and girls both. But the hostels are quite expensive they charge 10000/month for non AC room And PG provides a cheaper alternative that is around 1500-3000/month. These rates for hostel and PG are for sharing a room with a partner. If you want to live alone then it will be more expensive. In short, all options are available in the near locality you can select your ability to spend.
