Remarks

Eligibility is +2 passed with at least 55% marks obtained. You don't get admission even if you have 0.1% fewer marks in 55%. The application form publishes on the AMU exam controller website in the month of February and March. AMU provides many reservations such as OBC,SC/ST, CA/CE, PWD, DS. The admission process is very good and the online process of admission is to win our hearts, no improvement is needed in the process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have been learning Mathematics since childhood so my whole interest is in Mathematics. Department of Mathematics AMU is the best Mathematics department all over India, Students teacher ratio is generally 20:1. All teachers are very experienced and have Ph.D., Teaching method is very good and conceptual. Assignment in every month and after semester end there is semester examination, study smartly by books if you want to obtain good marks.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 9770 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike is generally in hostel messes and in course fees, no fees hike yet. The cost of study is very much Affordable. AMU has many Internal university private scholarships as well government scholarships, such as Sir Sayyed scholarship, women scholarship for minority, etc and UP scholarship for state students, and NSP SCHOLARSHIP for other states students. We got our fees back with some extra expenses.

Campus Life

AMU Literary fest, sir syyed day celebration are very common fest in the university and one fest Flower fest which held on 22 December is for flower lovers and very famous. AMU campus has Asia's biggest Library named Maulana Azad library which provides all types of books without any cost. Classrooms are huge and very well furnished with benches. No AC but all Classrooms are solar-powered. AMU has many Grounds for each game like cricket, football, and basketball and separate ground for girls. Many Social groups are in AMU, Roboclub(which is a part of the Engineering department), formula race clubs are very famous among the universities.

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges,and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...

Placement Experience:

There is no placement after Bsc but there is placement after pursuing BCA ,BCom BBA from the same college,the average package is 3lpa ,the companies visited are asra foundation and tata etc . About 80% of students placed in different companies and all got in internships.
