Good college with good placement opportunities.

The Eligibility of the course was 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths. I applied to this college through the UPSEE entrance exam and cleared cutt off to get computer science in NIET. The application fees for the exam was approx 1000 rupees but for counselling, the fees were 20,000 rupees. There are different cutoffs for different categories. Now the process for application is changed now you can get admission through JEE Mains counselling and JEE Mains marks.

I choose this course cause I had so much interest in computer science and wanted to pursue Engineering in Computer science. Faculty: student ratio is good here. There are sufficient faculty for all students. The faculty in NIET is well qualified and well experienced. The teachers are very helpful and friendly. There are three sessionals every semester which is of good level. They are not difficult to pass if a student pays attention in the class.

There have been few internship opportunities available in my college. Like amazon is giving internships to a few students. I have made many projects such as a student attendance system using face recognition. The task is to take attendance using face recognition or by just taking photos of the students.

Students become eligible for campus placement for seven semester. There have been many companies that visited NIET such as Amazon, cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro, Josh Technology etc for avg 4 LPA and max 44 LPA. Almost every Computer Science student got campus placement. My plans after getting a degree are to get experience in the software development field.

The fee is 6 lakh for BTech and the cost to study is pretty high. Students can apply to UP Scholarship and get scholarships every year. I got scholarships for all years. I got a job by college placement of 5 LPA.

The college conducts some fests annually. And also conducts tech fest for interested students. Some of them were like TECHNO FEST, etc. NIET has a big library that has almost every book that a student needs. Students can issue books with their ID Cards provided by the college. Classrooms are fine they are big and have much space for at least 60 students at a time. There are many clubs for sports like basketball club, football club and many more. Students run clubs like photography club, art club and many more.
