Little Flower College is a women's Catholic college in Guruvayur, India, and is affiliated with the University of Calicut. The eligibility of the Bcom course is an 80%in plus2 exam as it was a self-financing course. There are no entrance exams. Fees are higher according to the ug or pg course. There are 2 types of admission process: ug cap process through Akshaya and through the management process. we should pay 475rs for admission. The admission form will be available in the inquiry room. There are many reservation benefits. For sc, st,oec,obc students stipends are available by the lumpsum grant. In 2017, the college was ranked 49th in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). The college has recently accredited an A+ grade with 3.47 in naac accreditation. There are generally 6 semesters with 6 months gap. There will be semester exams every 6 months.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to be an Accountant. So I did choose the Bcom finance course. Faculties are very friendly and supportive. All the faculties are pg and bed completed ones. There are many teachers who have cleared the net, set exams, and also guest lectures. Due to covid 19 times, exams were not regularly done. we did immense hard work to clear the exams. Up to 3 semesters of exams were taken regularly that is with 6 months gap. From November to June, the last 3 semesters were taken. Also, the examiners and valuation were liberal.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Bcom course fees were rs 9000 per sem. A total of 54000 is paid to the college for 3 years.Egrantz scholarship for sc,st,obc,oec students.They provide a lump sum grant for the students. After 6 months of registration, they provide the lumpsum grant to the students. If the student house is more than 8km, then the student rate gets higher, and also for hostel students, they provide relaxation fund through the stipend that is 700rs for the hostel and as I was an Oec student, I got full fee refund through grants.

Campus Life

Campus life was so beautiful. there were many activities and celebrations such as union celebrations,Onam celebration, social service, freshers day, farewell,Onam and Christmas celebrations,Kerala piravi celebrations. there are huge infrastructure to the college such as a huge auditorium which has the capacity to hold 2000 students at a time, leisure tower, refreshment hall and tennis court, and fitness center

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in there 6th semester during 3rd year. The students has to score highest grades and should be capable of any skills and has to showed up in academic skills are eligible for getting placements. Sometimes the federal banks and other service centres approached the college for placing the students. The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000. After all, my plans are degree is to getting placed in any reputed companies and further more.

There is a lot talented faculties that's the importance reason to join in this campus

Placement Experience:

By completing the last semester students are eligible for campus placement. There is a very large number of companies recruited from the campus including IT companies like Infosys, Technocrat, etc. The average package is more than 15k.

Remarks:

The college is well known for inducing skills to students holistically. The facilities work very hard not just to complete the course but to make students fully aware about the subject matter. There is no political influence found in this college.

The best college in calicut city

Remarks:

Our college is the best but the college have not a college bus and a canteen. The students are come to the college with bikes and cars and private bus and students are eating food from out of the college campus and other hotels.
