Eligibility is completely based on Merit. I found the Details of admission and related on the official website of the college. I did submit my obc certificate but I got admission in the 3rd round and didn't need the caste certificate benefit. Even though I want the college to keep their website updated on a regular basis. It was a real headache to find new updates about the college regularly. And I also want them to be particular about sending an e-mail to the students if they are selected for admission.

I chose these courses because I wanted to study a subject with which I am familiar and can get opportunities for future studies. The faculty: students ratio is decent at least in the microbiology department. We have 4 teachers and 48 students. Our Microbiology department's head is a doctorate in this field and we also have another doctorate teacher in our department along with 2 master's degree teachers. The exams are moderately tough. If you don't study hard you will find it difficult to pass the exams

If any wants to study Microbiology then he/she should know that microbiology is a costly subject and based on that the fees of all government colleges including Kalyani Mahavidyalay are decent. And if there is a price hike then it will only take place after a new government order. Otherwise, the college cannot increase the fees on its own. I got Swami Vivekanand Merit cum means scholarship.

Our college conducts an annual fest and it usually takes place on a free month (free of exams and other events). The library of our college is well stuffed with different kinds of books which will be needed by the students during their course of study. Any student can borrow books from the library with their library card which is issued after the admission process is complete. The classrooms are quite spacious and we do have the important equipments needed for our experiment. Even though our college is not on the top colleges in West Bengal on the basis of equipments availability. Our teachers are quite supportive if we want to persue any extra curricural activities or sports considering it doesn't hampers our studies. There are sports and literature clubs in our college.
