Remarks
The admission process was pretty smooth. However, they have lowered the cut-offs resulting in degrading the quality. I feel there should be atleast a minimum of 75% cutoff for the electronics and communication department.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exams are very frequent. Moreover, they do not follow the best of 2 exams for mid sem they take the average. Which means absolutely no work-life balance. At any point in time, you are either giving an exam or preparing for an upcoming exam.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible to appear for campus placement in the seventh semester. Companies that visit the campus are TCS, Larsen & Turbo, Reliance groups, MG Motors, Crest Data systems, and many more. The highest package from CP and EC department 7 LPA and the average package is 3.5 LPA. The placement scenario is good for Mechanical, CP, IT, EC, and other circuit branches but not good for production and civil.
Fees and Financial Aid
Mysy scholarship is offered to needy and deserving students. The placement scenario is good for information technology, the mechanical department, and other circuit branches. Not for the civil and production department.
Campus Life
The cultural group of bvm is extremely active, they have NSS, NCC, and IEEE groups also. The college pays a lot of attention to cultural activities and BVM has a great record in the CVM competitions. Robo club is also an emerging group for tech enthusiasts.
