Remarks

I would personally recommend to any student who want to participate in any commerce stream courses after their 12th that they should go for IMS dehradun location is very beautiful.

Entrance Preview

I cleared CPT(Common Proficiency Test) entrance exam for CA in June 2014 and i Opted for BBA because graduation is necessary. So i am doing CA and BBA.

Internships Opportunities

I have not started my internship yet.

Placement Experience

I don't know because i am still in 2nd year and as i have heard from other students placement is not up to the mark for BBA.

College Events

College festivals are freshers party and our college also participates is Thomso which is very amazing and grooms a student not only in academics but in many other fields also.

Fees and Financial Aid

No i had not availed any scholarship or loan but scholarships are available.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is around 92 girls per 100 boys (approx.). And students are very friendly and helping in nature and every year sports competitions are held and debates are also there for those who want to participate.

Hostel Facilities

Mess Food is very tasty. But hostel charges are very high around 80-90000 p.a.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are good but sometimes they become rude and want to be the boss.

Faculty

Faculty is very good at IMS dehradun and rules are also very strict and they explain each and every thing in a professional way.

After 1st year the student are eligible for placement there are lot of companies visited like Reliance,Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, TOI, and the minimum package is 4 lakh and the maximum package is 30 lakh approximately 85 percent students are placed

Placement Experience:

As I am a bba student and I have 3 year of course duration so students starts doing internship from 2nd year and. Placements aree provided from 3 year. By college The highest page goes of 12 lpa in bba and average goes of 5lpa . Approx 80% students get placed .I am planning to do my masters afterwards. Major companies like Amazon and many more visits to our college

At Shivalik like we have been advised to find internships from each semester here on. So after internship the CV building and skill building training are provided. It is amazing to know that many reputed and well established names such as Windlas Biotech and RR Cable have started coming to our campus and hiring students as junior managers at a salary of 4 lakhs or so.

LIFE IN IMS UNISON

I did opt for du colleges but didn't make it , and as for applying law I needed clat in other colleges but in IMS UNISON we could easily get admission on basis of interview and our grades in 12th .being close to my house too and thinking of all the aspects it turns out to be the best option for me and being a student who's all into mountain and stuff it being very close to mussoorie add more glitter to it....Read More
