"Geethanjali college "- A decent place to start your career.

For getting into this college, I had to write the TS EAMCET exam. After getting the result of this exam which is a rank (I got around 38000 ranks), we have to select some colleges with some specialization. I have a good cutoff rank within the selected colleges, you'll get an allotment order and after that, you have to undergo certificate verification. After paying fees, you'll need to submit your original certificates to the college you got selected. I am from the OBC category, so I get a fee reimbursement of 35000 every year. So I just have to pay 67,500.

My course is B. Tech in Electronics and communication engineering. I had to choose this branch over Computer science engineering because to have multiple job careers. Student to faculty ratio is about 12:1 There are few senior lectures with Ph.D. And there are many lecturers with Masters in very good colleges. In this college, the duration for each semester is of 4 months. During a semester we'll have a mid-term examination for the first 2 months and another mid-term examination for another 2 months. And we'll have an end-semester examination after the 4 months of the semester. These exams are of medium level, we can pass them quite easily if you pay good attention in the classroom

Mostly the internships aren't paid. We pay the companies for internships. Our college has MOU with Smartbridge, which is a leading internship platform. You can get paid internships too from the influence of lecturers. There will be various projects done on internship and off internship. Every project you do will fetch you experience.

Students of B.Tech 3rd year 2nd semester will be eligible for campus placements. There are n number of companies that visit for campus placements. The frequent companies which come for placement are TCS, Infosys, DXG technology, Wipro, Some startups, product-based startups, some core companies. So most students are placed with an average package of 3-4lakh per annum. The highest package is around 10-12 lakhs per annum. There are almost 90% placements from main branches such as CSE, ECE, IT and 50% for Civil and Mechanical branches. I like to work in a product-based company.

College fee: 1,07,500 per year Fee reimbursement: 3500 per year The amount I pay : 67,500+ 7,500 University fee= 72,500. No job will be provided in college Faculty support for doing internships. They don't force students on the basis of fee dues, but clearing them on time will be helpful to you.

Every classroom is equipped with a projector and the classrooms are cleaned every morning. Bathrooms are clean and hygienic. They provide cool mineral water for drinking. We have various fests: Technical fest Cultural fest Freshers day Conferences Apart from fests college has many interesting clubs for literature, science, and technology. Clubs in my college include: Gshf-Geethanjali students help fund Dopy- Department of photography Srujanastra clue Club of arts and sciences English club- For literature. And our college has many clubs with the partnership of IEEE. Social media: My college has a separate portal for announcements and results. College is active in social media such as Instagram, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, YouTube.
