Students have to appear for the NEET-UG exam. As soon as the result of NEET-UG is declared the director of medical education of Assam releases a state merit list and calls the students for counseling. All the application forms and notices are provided on the official website of the directors of medical education Assam. Reservations are given to SC, ST, OBC students according to government rules.

I choose the course because I want to be a good doctor and this college is near to my home. All the departments have sufficient faculty who are understanding and well-qualified and take initiative in helping students. The faculty is trained and promotes learning with various methods that are interesting. Two types of the exam are conducted, one is a semester exam and another is a professional exam. Semester exam conducted by the college and professional exam by University.

The total fees for all the years is Rs.1,35,375. We have to pay extra fees for books and notebooks. Also every month we have to pay extra fees of 2500 for food in mess. Still, the fess is less than the fees of private medical colleges. I do get a scholarship from the ministry of minority scheme. Many students egt scholarships from the Ishan Uday scheme which lay 78k per year.

The annual fest's name is symphysis. It is conducted in the month of November. Being the best medical college in Assam, TMC conducts extracurricular activities every year but focuses more on academics. Though the college does host various dance programs and encourage sports participation and encourage the culture. in the library mostly books are easily available.

The hostel is different for the UG and PG students. The rooms are both single and sharing type and have nice ambiance. There is separate area for mess and sports room. The monthly fees for the hostel is around Rs.2500. In the mess they provide both healthy and fast food. Mainly they provide healthy foods. They provide meals 3 times a day. Nearby PG and rented rooms are very costly
