NMIMS Mumbai: A place you would soon fall in love with

The admission process was very smooth. I did not encounter any problem, As I applied for NMIMS in 2020, therefore my whole process was online. For getting admission to Narsee, you have to fill the form for NMAT and appear for the same. If you get a good score, you are shortlisted for a personal interview.

I chose the MBA program of NMIMS because it is an amazing university. I have chosen a general MBA and I plan to pursue MBA in Business Analytics in the second year. We have around 600 students in MBA core. The teaching faculty is amazing, they use various techniques like the creation of breakout rooms, polls, etc. to make learning more interactive.

The college gives ample opportunities to students to get an internship into a good company. We had various types of companies visiting the campus this year like Mircrosoft, Google, GE, Avendus etc. All of these offered a stipend of around 1 lakh.

The college offers amazing placement. From 1st semester, students start sitting for internships and in the 2nd year, they sit for final placements. NMIMS guarantees 100% placement. The highest package is around 38 lakh/annum.

I have little idea about the scholarship, but I have heard that there is a scholarship if you get a rank of 10 or less than 10 in the NMAT exam. The fee hike is generally around 50,000 to 1 lakh every year.

The classrooms have various amenities. NMIMS has the most amazing building which looks like a shopping mall. It also has various clubs. I myself am a part of the cultural club, dance club, dramatics club and fashion club of the college.

I faced a written test and a personal interview for the admission. The interview questions were very general like tell me about yourself, challenges you have faced etc., and they mainly focused on my work experience and asked me questions related to that. I prepared by watching various youtube videos and through books.
