Remarks
An entrance exam was conducted, Based on merit counseling was done. The exam was an MCQ kind, consisting of Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and English. The prospectus was obtained from the SBI branch by paying some amount.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Mechanical Engg because I had already done my Diploma in Mechatronics, Faculty was very efficient and very learned. The faculty were very punctual and disciplined. Ph.D. for professors, Masters for Asst. Professors. There were three midterms and one semester exams. best of two mid-term marks were counted.
Internships Opportunities
Internships were available in all departments in-house, as well as by companies from all over the country. Companies could also select students through interviews for the students whom they want for paid internships in the last (8th) semester.
Placement Experience
The college takes good care of the placements. At least 80 % were placed on the first go, rest could apply to the placement cell for further requirements. The institute offered alumnus programmes to guide us.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees comparatively were pretty much higher than the rest of the universities in India, but it was okay if compared to the kind of environment, facilities, exposure, technology, and infrastructure provided to its students.
Campus Life
Beautiful, comfortable, and social infrastructure, best in class infrastructure available in the country. Classrooms were equipped with projectors, entry-exit and attendance were through biometrics. At least 5 world-class fests were organized in a year.
Hostel Facilities
Based on budget we could select, Single room shared bath, double room shared bath, single room bath inc, and double room bath inc. with AC and Non AC arrangement. Dormitories were also available. The food was amazing and healthy. There was the open kitchen for students to see what they are eating.
