1) 12th passed with 60% in PCM and cleared UPSEE entrance exam. 2)Application is through counseling in UPSEE. 3) The admission procedure is very slow and time taking. The admin staff should be increased.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to pursue a future in the civil engineering field. There is a 1:30 faculty ratio. Masters's is the minimum degree required in the respective field. Teachers are knowledgeable and interesting. Term exams were a little off-timed and are difficult also.
Internships Opportunities
The college has signed MOU with the Asian Institute of Technology Bangkok, Thailand. The college sends around 20-30 students for training and internship to Thailand for a period of one month. Recently signed more MoUs with Australian and New Zealand's colleges.
Placement Experience
Usually, the students are eligible for placement in the last two semesters. Aditya Birla, TCS, SRDT, INFOSYS, TECH MAHINDRA, etc companies visited with packages of 3.3 lac to 4 lacs. The highest companies package offered was 10 lac PA. 30% of the total strength of all branches students are placed. Government jobs and self Employment.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure of the college is different with different branches and the fees are gradually decreased in every year. Fees can be paid in two installments or semester-wise. There are special financial assistance for reservation seat admission and for students belonging to economically weaker sections. There are government scholarships also available for the students. On-campus stipend is available for students pursuing Masters.
Campus Life
Abhivyakti is the annual fest usually held in January mid to February mid. Gantavya is a tech-fest conducted usually in the month of September or October. The central library has a huge section for all the books pertaining to all the branches. Classrooms are airy with several windows and two exits. All types of indoor and outdoor sports are available with proper kits. Various interstate matches are held under Spardha fest. Social groups pertaining to singing, dancing, drama, media, publishing, etc are also available which are run by students and faculties as well.
