Overall Review- NMIMS Mumbai

Our admission process comprised of 3 rounds. The first one was the NMAT exam followed by WAT and then PI. The level of difficulty was moderate to difficult. the application fee was around 2800. I didnt receive any reservations for the exam and the admission process was quite smooth and overall no improvement is required as per me. The cut off was 234 and the individual cut offs were also there for logical, Quants and English

I am pursuing MBA in Marketing in NMIMS, Mumbai. The student-faculty ratio is 25:1. Most of the faculty holds doctorate degrees and have vast industry and professional experience. We have 6 trimesters in 2 years. 2 months of summer internship is also a part of our curriculum. The semester concludes with final exams

The colloge also helps in getting students placed in summer internships. Most of the reputed companies visit colleges like Wipro, CCLG, Aditya Birla, Marico visits the campus. The average stipend for the students is 1 lacs for 2 months. Maximum stipend is 3 lacs for 2 months. There are many roles which come to the campus pertaining to the Sales manager, Investment Banking, Business Analyst etc.

Final Placements are really good and the average package is near about lacs per annum and most of the reputed companies like Microsoft, Brittania, Goldman Sachs, HSBC etc and FMCG and visit the campus and almost all the batch gets placed. The highest package goes near 35 lacs and there are also international offers.

The fees for our college is around 12 lacs and it increases almost by 10% every year. The overall cost of the education is quite exppensive here . Certain scholarships are also available for the meritorious students who perform better and outstand others. some 5 10 percent of students can avail that scholarship.

There are various clubs and committees in our college like Placement Committe and Student Council. Other Domain specific clubs like Industry Institute Partnership cell, Optumiz , Finomenon, Not just Marketing, Adverb, zephyr, Prabhodan. We have various annual activities and events - Euphoria, Convisage, Rubroo, Mr and Mrs NMIMS, Management Consulting Conclave.

So there were 3 rounds of evaluation done by the college. After the written test , we had to undertake a Group discussion and Written Ability Test (WAT). The topics for Written ability test was Emerging Digital Technologies and their applications. This was followed by the interview wherein they asked some questions related to work experience and general management questions. I prepared through the online material available for the WAT/PI round
