Remarks

The admission is through the college's own entrance exam i.e the NMAT in which I scored 252 out of 360. It takes place from October to January, the details of which are on the college website. The cutoff this year was 180 out of 360. Students with a bachelor's in pharmacy, biotechnology, life sciences, nutrition, dentistry can apply. The NMAT shortlisted candidates go through a WAT and PI later on

Course Curriculum Overview

4

MBA in Pharmaceutical management is a specialised course that focuses particularly on the pharmaceutical industry. One of its kind course in India and reputed in the industry. Faculty of all subjects are highly experienced. The curriculum focuses on various domains of the industry like sales, marketing, consumer behaviour, legal aspects, etc

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships are provided in good, well reputed pharmaceutical companies along with a stipend. There is a devoted selection process for the internships that depends on the company. Some companies also provide PPOs during internships.

Placement Experience

4

Placement process was taken care by the placement committee dedicated to it specially. Opportunities for both summer internship programs and final job placements are provided and both take place with 100% placement. Top companies of the IPM come to the campus for placements each year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course is good in terms of affordability and return on investment, with a fee of 6.5L per year. The fees are higher as compared to other colleges but are well structured in accordance with the materials provided by the institute.

Campus Life

4

Due to covid, the course has been continuing online since the start of the year hence I have not been able to experience the campus but it is really good and with well built infrastructure. A number of facilities are available at the campus. A lot of options for extracurricular activities like various clubs including dance, drama, music, photography, literature, marketing, finance etc.

Interview Experience

4

The interview was easy and smooth. It was online due to covid but it was well managed. I had 2 panellists for my interview and each asked around 3-4 questions. The questions were not direct but were easy to answer. Some questions revolved around the top companies of the IPM, the use of bachelor's subjects in the industry, covid vaccines, etc. There was also a written analytical test conducted on the same day of the interview.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
