Remarks

The first step is registering for NMAT exam. You have to clear the minimum overall score cut off of 235 in it and sectional cut off of 76 for each section. Using the NMAT ID, you can register on the official site of NMIMS and all information and instructions are clearly given there. After this there is either a GD PI round or a WAT PI round, where in there is a written ability test and personal interview. The process is overall pretty smooth, but they should include a case study round in it, too.

HR course of NMIMS Mumbai is very well reputed and robust. There are 60 students usually for 1 faculty. The faculty is very qualified and experienced, and delivery of the course is via case study medium, which helps clarify concepts in a better manner. Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
