Remarks

You have to have 50% marks in your UG from a known institution. 1st apply for NMAT by GMAC. You have to get 235 minimum total scores and 76 in each section. After that you will have a WAT PI round on one day itself. WAT topic is moderate and doable in 20 minutes. PI questions are not very tricky. They ask about your academics and general things about yourself. Overall process is alright, however they should give more time to prepare for such interview rounds.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

MBA HR from NM is one of the best in India. Faculty-student ratio is 1;60. Teachers are well-experienced and teach through case study method, which clarifies HR concepts in a robust manner. End trimester exams are also moderate level and online medium didn't present any major challenge as the NMIMS portal is efficient. But sometime student uplaod wrong paper because on tension and are marked Failed for that. This is the only issue I feel we have here.

Internships Opportunities

4

SIP's are also for 100% of the batch. Average stipend is Rs 30,000-50,000 per month and the highest is around Rs 1,20,000-1,50,00 per month. EY, Wipro, Positive Moves, Goldman Sachs, Unacademy, etc are some of the major recruiters for SIP's. There are ample corporate and live project opportunities too, presented to students.

Placement Experience

4.5

Campus placements are very good. 100 % placements are given. BFSI, logistics, IT, FMCG you name it all, and all industries come here for recruiting fresh talent. Average placements are of around 13-14 lakhs and the highest ctc is 22 lakhs per annum. Mahindra logistics, KPMG, deloitte, davbur, etc all come here for placements. The placement drive starts in October, and smoothly gets conducted within days.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is quite high. It is 11 lkahs per annum. It is sometimes revised also from year to year, however very minimilistically. But since placements are good, it can be said that in terms of ROI it is a good deal.

Campus Life

4

There are around 15 clubs that have all subjects of specialization plus there are activity clubs too. Alumini relations cell, placement cell, finance cell, literary club, fashion club, music club, photography cell, etc are present. There are 6-7 major fests throughout the year, and several events conducted by all cells.

Interview Experience

4

WAT PI round happens one 1 day after clearing NMAT cut-off. WAT topic is easy and can be done in 20 minutes. PI questions are simple and general. Don't stress too much about that. Just be yourself and answer with confidence. Prepare 'why MBA?' and "tell me about yourself, questions well. Give straight and to-the-point answers.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top.
