NMIMS Mumbai

For getting admission to NMIMS, we have to give NMAT. From Last year NMAT is allowing 3 attempts. You are eligible for NMIMS if you clear the cutoff and you have a minimum of 50 percent in graduation. After filling NMAT form, you also have to fill the NMIMS form separately to be eligible for admission. The admission process includes the NMAT exam followed by the WAT and Interview.

The course curriculum for NMIMS is good and they always keep their curriculum updated. The curriculum includes knowledge and learning related to Finance, Marketing and Sales, General Management, Consulting, etc. The faculties are very good and supportive. The student: faculty ratio at NMIMS is around 15:1. Quiz for many subjects happens on a timely basis so that students don't lag in their studies. Exams are not very tough and you can pass them if you pay attention in class.

NMIMS prepares for its summer internship mostly from September to November. Everyone gets placed for their internship. This year NMIMS saw 130 companies coming for summers with an average package of 1.2 lakhs for a 2-month internship. The companies were mostly from Sales, BFSI, marketing, consulting, and product management. The highest package went as high as 2.5 lakh

The placement for nmims is really good. NMIMS claims 100% placement and also an average package of 18 lakhs. Around 150 companies visited this year with most from the Marketing and sales, BFSI, and consulting sectors. The highest package went to 58 lakh while the top 25% of students had an average package of 23 lakhs.

The two-year fee for NMIMS Is about 210000. It is a bit on the expensive side. NMIMS gives financial assistance to students based on their family income and their previous academic performances. The placements are good here and most of the students are placed.

The campus is very beautiful, looks like a 5-star hotel with all the facilities in the campus. The social life is good at NMIMS. There are many clubs and committees which always help students to interact with other students and faculty as well. A lot of material is available both in the library as well as E-library and Bloomberg access as well. We have a student council. Placement committee, corporate project cell, social cell, dance and drama club etc

During 2020 admission process we had a group discussion but since 2021 there has been no GD due to covid. WAT happened in 2021 and the entire process was inline. My GD topic was based on the India-china issue and its implications for both the countries. Preparation can be done by reading newspapers daily and be aware of what is happening around the world. The interview was generic with current affairs and some situation-type questions.
