Candidates who applied for bachelor of Agriculture course must be eligible atleast 50% marks in their main subject (PCB,PCM) The application form, application fee and application dates are mention on their official University website. 25% seats are reserved for those candidates belong to Uttarakhand state. Reservation details for Scheduled caste 15%, Scheduled tribes 7.5%, OBC 27% and for person with disabilities 3%.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am pursuing a BSc in agriculture. This field has more scope and opportunities and most important having more entrepreneurship programmes. The faculties are more interactive and supportive towards students. They are well qualified from recognized institution postgraduates and PHD scholars. The Examination system are good and timely happened. The mid-term or internal assessment having 2 exams per day but in end, the term or external assessment has gap of 2- 3 days between the exam. As same in practical exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
The BSc agriculture Hons. (4year) full-time Course fee around 4.88lakh. The Scholarship is 25% off for Uttarakhand candidates. For girl Candidates is 10% off for their course fee and for army background can also get off in their fee and also for lower category ( SC, ST and OBC) The financial assistance is educational loan from the government.
Campus Life
The Annual fest is organized every year, here the famous singers and DJ are welcomed. The library are present for all courses relevant books with interesting novels. The classroom are well planned having proper basic facilities ( projector for PPT presentation) The sports and extra curricular activities on the campus like Modelling , Dancing and singing and gaming are organised. The group and clubs for sports and extra curricular activities (painting etc) for students and run by students.
