NMIMS Mumbai - Exceeded my expectations on all front

I had 248 out of 360 in NMAT. With individual scores of 76 in quants, 87 in LS, 85 In LR. NMIMS Mumbai have both sectional and overall cutoffs to get a call. The overall cutoff was 235 and the sectional cutoff was 76 for each section. NMIMS Bangalore and Hyderabad will have less cutoff than these. After getting a cut off and score based call, We have a Written Analytical Test [WAT] and Personal Interview [PI]. No GD was there. WAT on a given current affairs topic, we wrote on a google form and submitted. PI was conducted by a panel of 3 and revolved around Why MBA, work experience and little current affairs. Then on final selection, we need to pay the first year fees within a short notice of one week.

NMIMS exceeded my expectations to be true. We have very knowledgeable faculties, Many of them have worked on CFO levels and have more than 20 years of industry experience. Even on online mode, the effectiveness of the program is really graet.

We have a mandatory 2 months internship at the end of the first year. Summer placements are also great and almost 30 per cent of students used to get PPO at the end of summer itself. We also do a lot of corporate projects during the year with many startups to enhance our business acumen

The placements are really good. The entire final placements of the 2022 batch for 600 students finished in almost a week [8 days]. A lot of companies are coming for many good profiles. And placements are getting better year by year too.

Campus placements are really good. For the current year 2022 passed outs, the entire batch of 600 got placed in almost a week [8 days]. Scholarships are there, but I am not sure of the complete details. Think it can be availed by people, who have a family annual income of fewer than 8 lakhs.

Unfortunately haven't been to campus yet physically. But there are a lot of clubs and contests. Constantly many things will be going other than academics too. Almost every corporate competition opens for NMIMS, so you will find yourself constantly engaged. NMIMS have marketing, finance, HR, advertising, economics, dance, music, fashion, mindfulness cells. Campus life is more than good even on online mode.

Written Ability Test [WAT] was there. No group discussions. Ours was an online interview because of the pandemic. So we had WAT through google forms and the next PI round through zoom call. It was not a stress interview. Panel was friendly and listening to us very carefully.
