Remarks

We must take the NMAT in order to be considered for admission to NMIMS. Previously NMAT was allowing 3 attempts but since last year they have entirely changed the process to just 1 attempt. If you pass the cut-off and are a graduate with a minimum of 50% you are eligible for NMIMS. So previous years cut-offs out of 360 were as follows: 210 for Pharmaceutical management, 235 for HR and 240 for Core MBA along with individual sectional cut-offs around 75/80. Later to be eligible for admission, you must fill the Nmims form seperately after completing the NMAT form. The NMAT exam is followed by the WAT and PI as part of the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Nmims's course curriculum is excellent and flexible along with that they are constantly updating it. Finance, marketing and sales, general management, operations, procurement, consulting, and other topics are covered in the curriculum. The professors are extremely helpful and supportive. Professors are industrial experts who embark and enlighten students with their real-life experiences to have a better understanding of the subjects. Around 20:1 is the student to faculty ratio. Many subjects have quizzes that are held on a regular basis to ensure that students do not fall behind in their studies. Exams are not difficult, they are all application-based or case studies based which can be done if paid enough attention during classes.

Fees and Financial Aid

MBA from NMIMS is a 2 years course with a fee structure amounting to 21 lakhs. Even if it's a bit on the expensive side they do provide financial assistance to lower income class students and on the basis of previous graduation performace results. Bayers scholarship amounting to 50 thousand Rs is provided by the college for students who pass the criteria. This year's full 100% placement was achieved in just 8 days thus proving that the placements of NMIMS offer excellent opportunities and reach for all students.

Campus Life

5

Nmims University looks like a 5-star hotel with all the facilities in the campus. The social life is very happening. There are 4-5 major fests which are counted along with small events throughout the year. Book and reference material are readily available both online and in person before the trimester starts. There are 15 cells, clubs and committee giving students plently of opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities. Few of them are Not Just Marketing, Nepathya, Zephyr, Verve, HRuday, Ecolobria and Student council. The class rooms are well equipped and spacious. Almost every month, educational and entertaining events take place in any one of the clubs.
