Remarks

NMAT Exam was given by me. 235 was the cutoff with 75 sectional cutoff in all the three sections. Nmat exam is conducted by gmac and this exam is conducted to take admission into various colleges across India. Mainly student give nmat exam which provides 3 attempts, but now they have just limited it to 1 attempt.

Course Curriculum Overview

Everything is nice. All the professors are nice and they are very helpful and they help you in any way possible to get all All the faculties have post graduation degrees along with rich corporate experience. We also are taught by various guest lecturers.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college has a very high internship placement record as well. Being one of the most prestigious college in the country, and being situated in the heart of the financial capital of the country, the college sees amazing summer placements. The average stipend for a 2 month summer internship was 1.2 lacs. The companies that came were Google, Cisco, Goldman Sachs, Britannia, ITC, Pepsico, Piramal etc.

Placement Experience

The college has an excellent placement record. The average placement offer was 18.45 lacs per annum. The campus saw companies like Mars, Pepsico, Red Bull, ITC, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, and many more. They came for profiles from Marketing, Operations, Finance, and General Management.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of MBA Core program is 21,90,000 for 2 years. The college does not provide any scholarshop or financial assistance. One can easily get a bank loan for NMIMS as it is one of the most prestigious colleges in the country. A major addition the cost to study is the living cost in Mumbai. The college is situated in Vile Parle, and the living expenses in this area, along with the nearby areas like Andheri, Juhu etc. can be very high.

Campus Life

The campus life in online mode is pretty dull, but there are various activities conducted by cells like Student Council, Mantavya, Not Just Marketing, Nepathya etc. which try to keep the life a little lively. Apart from these, there are various clubs for dance, music, photography, fashion and drama.

Interview Experience

The process includes a Written Aptitude Test, followed by a panel interview. in WAT you can get any general or abstract topic, and you have to write an essay of 400-500 words in 15 mins. In the interview, they ask questions related to undergraduation, work experience, and the specialisation you are interested in. The practice for this can be done through coaching classes.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top.
