The selection happened through the NMAT exam. The cutoff for Pharma MBA was 180/360, with sectional cutoffs took into account. Post the NMAT, there was a shortlist for Case Discussion and Personal Interview round. Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, life sciences, medical technology, B.Tech biotechnology. Course Curriculum Overview
Inclination towards management was the main reason. Choosing a pharma MBA was backed by the thought of securing a good managerial position in the healthcare industry. The faculties are alumni of esteemed business schools from over the globe with in-depth knowledge and expertise of the subjects they're responsible for. Owing to the trimester pattern, there are trimester-end examinations and before these, there are other internal assessments which include quizzes, submissions, individual and group projects.
Internships Opportunities
Roles offered include sales executive, marketing trainee, marketing associate fellow, junior project manager, junior analyst, management trainee. Projects range from different assignments in sales, target, and deadline-based tasks.
Placement Experience
The college provides opportunities for Summer Internship Program post the third trimester. A variety of pharma companies, medical devices companies, healthcare consultancy firms recruit during the summers as well as final placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are 6.5 LPA. There were discussions as to the fees may have been reduced due to the pandemic and all sessions happening online. Scholarship opportunities would have really helped people with less decent socioeconomic conditions.
Campus Life
There are a variety of pharma-specific and non-specific clubs and committees the students can be a part of. These include the cultural committee of SBM-Nepathya, Alumni Relations Cell, Student Council, Sports Committee, Social Responsibility Forum subject-specific cells like Optimuz (Operations), E-cell (Entrepreneurship Cell), Ecolibria (Economics), NjM (Not just Marketing), ADverb, HRuday (HR), Finomenon (FInance). Hobby based cells include Treblemakers (music), Xplore (Photography), Zephyr (dance), Rangpunch (Drama), and Verve (Fashion) Euphoria is the annual cultural fest. There are club and committee-specific events that keep happening all year round. The overall infrastructure is on point and conducive to learning due to the easy availability of all resources.
