Great experience at NMIMS

The eligibility for the course is Bachelor's degree in pharma or BSc in life science, biotechnology, biology, etc., BAMS, MBBS, BDS. The application form is available on the official site of NMIMS and the application fees were 2200 for the NMAT and 2300 for the NMIMS. Basically 5000 per application. The registration and entrance exam dates were clearly mentioned on the official website. The admission process was as follows 1. NMAT 2. PAT (Pharmacy aptitude test) 3. GD/PI After all these, there will be a cut-off score which was 180 in 2021. After clearing cut off you will be able to submit the fees for your seat. The admission process is simple. we also have a perk of giving NMAT 3 times if someone is not satisfied with his/ her 1st attempt, he can go for 2nd or 3rd.

The course curriculum is quite good, I chose the course because it was aligned with my bachelor's degree. The faculty is highly qualified and experienced. Most of the faculty are associated with big brands. The student-faculty ratio is somehow 1:1. There is a regular feedback form for the faculties which is provided to us, if we are facing any issue we can simply write that in the feedback form. There are 6 trimesters in 2 years, The term exams occur every 3 months. The course is quite rigorous.

There are huge opportunities for students in terms of internships. The role and stipend vary from company to company. Various projects like marketing, analyst, consulting are generally offered by companies. One can have great industry experience in his/her internship.

Placements are 100%. In 1st year you will be eligible for an internship and in 2nd year for final placements. Mainly pharma companies and other consulting firms visit for placement. Some of them are sun pharm, GSk, etc. The average package is around 8 lakhs and the profile offered are marketing, consulting, etc. I will be looking forward to the great opportunity for myself also.

The fee structure is 6.5 lakh for a year. I am not aware of such financial policies yet though Nmims have counselors for each and every student and one can contact them anytime for help. And we will have an internship for 2 months with a great stipend.

Life at the campus is pretty good. we have the following clubs at college: 1. zephyr - Dance club 2. range punch- Dramatics 3. Trebblemaker- singing 4. Verve- fashion An annual fest like Euphoria and other fest happen yearly. Other than that we have sports events, leagues like cricket, football, chess. In this online mode, the sports event consists of volarant, Fifa, etc. The Library is full of resources and we can access e-library as well by login into our own portal.

Yes, there were Interview and Wat round. In WAT - Written Aptitude Test , we were assigned 20 minutes to solve a case study . We were proided with the case and data related to that case and we have to analyze it and write the analysis , In Interview- Its more of a resume or profile related questions. If you have work ex , they will ask you the details . In my case I was fresher so my interview was quite alligned towards hygiene question aand my bachelor's details.
