Great College to Lean Good Engineering Knowledge

My admission process was through Anna University COunselling, with my cut-off of 175, I had applied for Anna University Counselling, through I got to know about AAA College of Engineering and Technology, and I opted for it.

My interest was through Mechanical Engineering, as I adored learning about the mechanisms of machines and automobiles. The faculty-student ratio is 1:50. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. Scholars and the remaining faculties are pursuing their Ph.D. while teaching here. The teaching methods are very good, and helpful, they teach everything with practical examples in our real life, which makes everything to learn with interest. Also very helpful with clearing doubts. The term exams were conducted thrice a semester, all those exams were intermediate, with a good understanding of the syllabus and listening to class properly we were able to pass the exam with excellent grades.

Internships are offered in Sony Fireworks, Idhayam Oil Company, Toyota Service, etc. The stipend is not provided by all companies, only very few providers, with a maximum stipend of 10000 rupees. During the final semester, industrial projects are done under these companies, the projects are problem-solving projects. A problem is taken from the companies and we provide a solution for it and do analysis in it.

From the Final year last semester, the students are eligible for campus placement. For mechanical there are a lot of core companies that come for placements. Also, even IT Companies take some of our mechanical students. The percentage of the students who get placed is 90% on average. Some of the core companies are LPT(Lakshmi Precision Tools), SAEW, NVH, PDS, S.S.FASTENERS, RENAULT NISSAN MITSUBISHI. The highest salary package offered is 5 lakhs per annum and on average is 3 lakhs per annum.

The fees are very reasonable, since I chose this college through Anna University, my tuition fee was only around 60000 rupees per year. Though there are certain scholarships and financial assistance provided, I had not opted for it. I have got placed in two companies Infosys and Accenture and the Salary package offered to me from both companies is 3.6lakhs and 4.6lakhs per year.

The campus life is excellent, they have libraries to refer a lot of books, canteens provide food for breakfast as well as for lunch, the food is very good both those times. The amenities in the classroom are perfect, proper seating chairs, well-maintained boards, every classroom have projectors in them. There are also very good sports activities, coaching is provided during the evenings, once in every year sports day is conducted. There are clubs for every department, in Mechanical we have two clubs, one is ISHRAE and SAE clubs with yearly subscriptions.
