Wrote kcet exam and secured 2192 rank to get a seat in ECE branch. Application form, dates, information available at kea.kar.nic.in or sjce.ac.in The admission process was smooth but it would be more helpful if they provide complete fee details before visiting the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I Chose the ECE branch because of somebody's suggestion. But please choose cs or is or ECE as placement is too good for these branches. Girl to boy ratio 1:2 and student to teacher ratio 10:1. All the teachers have completed Ph.D., MTech some even done ms, and are good at teaching. Sem exams and internals are conducted regularly and give projects every sem.
Placement Experience
Placement starts at the end of 3rd year and by the start of 5th sem at 50% will be placed to various companies at an average salary of 1 lakh per months placement is too good for cs is and ece. Also give provisions for an internship that is in next sem.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee in total is 90000 for kcet. If you secure a seat from comedk fee is 2 lakh and If you are a diploma lateral entry student then the total fee for a management seat is 90000 only. 55k is kcet board fee and the rest is for college building maintenance, library, wifi, etc.
Campus Life
Sjce is famous for jayciyana but for the last 4 years that didn't happen at all due to various reasons. Support many clubs formed by students and there will be some event going on on the campus every week.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are a bit old. Wifi available all the time no power cut or water problem but the food is not that good can't survive on that food it's too bad. The gym is 300m from the hostel and very convenient has a lot of trees and parking spaces.
