Remarks

If you want to get admission in Poornima college of engineering you should give the REAP exam and after qualifying that exam you are able to get admission. In this college admission is also based on JEE Mains exam whose cut off is not much higher but as you know every year cut off is going to be changed.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members of this college are highly qualified and knowledgeable. All the professors are ready for clearing the doubt at any time. The exam pattern of this college is different from others and if you are eligible for getting marks then only the professor should give you the marks. Exams are to be like 2 midterm in every semester and one RTU and the end of the semester.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.
