Remarks
The admission was pretty straightforward. There are 3 ways to get in currently. First, you can get in with direct admission. Second, you may take admission with your 12th percentage and/or JEE percentile. Third, you can register for REAP and try to get this college as your first preference. You can try for the TFWS scholarship if your 12th percentage is high. The faculty is very helpful and easy to reach for students. The teachers are dedicated to providing qualified guidance and mentoring the students throughout their college life. The infrastructure is not huge but it is more than equipped to handle any students needs. The college prides itself on having new technologies available for students to try their hands on. For eg, it has recently added an AR/VR Lab. The campus life is very chill and lively. Everyone is friendly with each other. The college provides the best placements in Udaipur, and if you are considering joining a college for B.tech nearby, I recommend you to join this one.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because this is a leading field in engineering with many pioneering and innovations left to do. The course teachers are well-qualified and helpful to students. This college is mostly famous for its CSE dept. The other courses don't attract many admissions. The CSE holds 120 seats for students and is divided into two sections for a 1:60 ratio. The faculty is highly qualified with many years of experience under their belt. The term exams are held loosely based on the Academic calendar issued by the RTU. To pass, you have to study acc. to the subject. Some subjects are easier to pass than others.
Internships Opportunities
The college has tie-ups with some foreign colleges, which offers our students some internships. The college has ongoing projects in Networks, AR/VR, Systems. Smart system, etc. The tasks can be some projects given by faculties. Such as, to develop a system to determine and record pollution levels of a nearby lake.
Placement Experience
The placements are best in Udaipur. You become eligible for placements in 3rd year. There are various companies like Wipro, TCS, Metacube, etc. who come to hire students from this college. The highest packages go till 8-9 LPA. The average is 5 LPA. About 40-30% of students get placements. I plan to do 9-5 jobs for some time.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are taken in 2-3 chunks rather than in instalments every year. Both online and offline transactions are acceptable. The campus hostel is about 50000 per year. For scholarships, you can talk to the faculty but the main one you should concern yourself with is the TFWS scholarship seats the college has for students. I haven't graduated yet but the college offers internships with stipends in 3rd year.
Campus Life
The campus is very friendly and it's easy to approach any fellow student or senior. The annual fest is held every year in January, there are many fun activities you can enjoy in those There are enough books for students and the library is properly equipped The classroom has projectors for students. Sports- Basketball, Table Tennis, Football, Weightlifting, Boxing, etc, There are some clubs made for students. Namely, Codechef, Google Dev, Dancing, Singing, etc.
Other Applied Colleges
