NMIMS: Top B School

The admission process is simple. You need to apply for the NMAT exam and the NMIMS separately. The fee was approx 2500 for the exam. NMAT exam is an adaptive exam testing your verbal ability, logical and quantitative aptitude. The basic eligibility criteria are 50% in 10th, 10+2 and graduation. After clearing the cutoff, one has to give WAT and PI.

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and aims to provide in depth knowledge to students. It provides the industrial exposure to students. The curriculum has been designed beautifully. Faculty student ratio is good. The faculty at NMIMS is experienced. They provide guidance and support to students as and when required. The college works according to the schedule.

Ample number of internship opportunities are available in college. Various companies visit campus offering interesting and engaging projects to students. Various competitions also provide opportunities to students. The batch received attractive stipends for the internships. The average stipend was 1.3 lakhs and highest being 3 lakhs. These internships provide great learning and growth opportunities.

NMIMS holds a record of 100% placements. There were over 200 recruiters. The highest package was 34 lakhs per annum for the MBA Core batch. 25% of students secured PPO for their amazing performance in summer internships and competitions. It was a mix of loyal and first time recruiters MBA HR batch had the highest package of 21 lakhs per annum.

The current fee is 2200000. It is similar to other B-Schools. The college provides assistance to students for securing loans from banks. The campus also provides jobs to students with an attractive stipend of an average of 80k.

Campus life is amazing. The college organises various fests and events throughout the year. There are cultural events, sports events, corporate events, etc. College provides various resources for accessing journals, books, etc. There are a number of clubs and cells that students can be a part of according to their areas of interest. It provides students with a networking opportunity.

There was no group discussion. There was WAT and PI. Topics included the digital divide, women empowerment, etc. PI had basic hygiene questions and general awareness questions. To be eligible for this round, one needs to clear the cutoff. It was around 235 for the 2021 batch. There was a sectional cutoff with approx 70-75 for each section. One can prepare well through the material available online.
