Remarks
Manipal Entrance Test, MET is an admission test conducted by the university for some courses. I filled the form online. I also had to give MET for B.Tech entrance. I also had to face an Interview round which is quite simply to attend. I heard about this college via Collegedunia.
Course Curriculum Overview
I got fascinated by the infrastructure and the kind of facilities the college provides. The second reason of pursuing B.Tech from this college is the labs and placement facility. Experience and qualification of our facility is worthy of praise as most of them have done their masters or PhD. We have two semester in a year where exam is quite easy to pass if you have proper notes.
Placement Experience
Placement and internship opportunities are good. Last year, almost 250 companies came for the hiring and almost 65% of the students got placed. The companies like amazon, delloit, JP Morgan, HP, Dell, Bosch, etc. were most likable companies in the job fair. The average CTC was Rs. 7.5 LPA. The highest was Rs. 43LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Laboratory based subject has 3k per year except the annual fee. The annual fee is around Rs. 3.15 Lakh. However, students have aid of paying their annual fees in installments divided in two semester. There are many scholarship schemes for students which you can see on our university's official portal. I still didn't get any job as it starts from 5th semester onwards.
Campus Life
We have big sports complex, labs, cafeteria, well equipped classes, etc. Felicity is one of the major cultural event held in winters. Utasav is also one of the cultural events celebrated in our college where students and teachers have a lot of fun by performing different activities. Different colleges come and compete with each other in these kinds of activities.
