Remarks
The admission process is very simple. The basic eligibility criteria for admission are 50% marks in 10th,12th and graduation. NMIMS conducts a separate entrance exam called NMAT. You need to apply for the NMAT exam for which the form is available at the official website of NMAT. It is an adaptive exam that assesses your verbal, logical and mathematical abilities. Later the colleges release cutoffs for different courses. After passing in the cutoffs criteria one has to appear in the WAT and PI process.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very extensive with the goal of providing students with in depth knowledge. It exposes us practically to the industrial world. The programme outline is satisfactory. The faculty at NMIMS has a lot of experience. They expose us to real life case study that plays a crucial role in enhancing the concepts.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for MBA in pharmaceutical management at SBM, NMIMS is 6.5 lakhs per year. No scholarship is provided by the college and for financial assistance, students prefer to take an educational loan from banks. During the pandemic, no fee concession was provided by the college.
Campus Life
Due to the pandemic the classes are going online with no campus exposure yet. But various clubs and committees conducted online fests and events. These events are quite engaging and full of enthusiasm. In this virtual mode of education we still feel connected through these engaging programmes. The official portal of NMIMS offers a plethora of books and journals that could be easily accessed.
Interview Experience
As the admission process for the batch of 2021 was online. So instead of GD, we had WAT. It was based on a case study. The process of WAT was proctored and was easy to crack. For WAT one must be aware of the current affairs and buzzing news topics. Followed by a PI which basically revolved around hygiene questions.
