Remarks

It was a second good option for after not qualified for JEE Advance. I wanted to study in a good reputed college and the INSPIRE Scholarship attracted me to get admission in the course and a dual degree also attracts me.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is designed to pursue research work, elective courses of your interested subject and some of the mandatory humanities courses. In first two year: you need to study all four subject: Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with that English and Computer. The courses are very interested and you really have a chance to introspect yourself before pursuing majors, even Biology looks interested for non-medical students, course are pure academically and basics, not directly applied one. Faculties are highly qualified, but teaching level is frankly not good of many faculties.

Internships Opportunities

Yes: my internship were purely based on my interest work not academically: students get very great reputed internship of international level.

Placement Experience

1.5

Not good, you need to self reliant yourself for job purpose and to pursue whatever you wish to.its bsc and msc course, so you need to think what you want to pursue and do accordingly, college will not provide you any guidance towards jobs or placements expect your individual choice, work and recommendation letter from guide matters.

College Events

3

All major indian festivals are celebrated with full enjoy, Insomnia a college fest run for 4-5 days in which students of other institutes are eligible to participate and win great prize, DJ night in every 2-3 months happen, along with cultural festivals and special events happen, science festivals on the occassion of national science day. School students visit college on various events, regular seminars, and public talks by leading scientist happen.

Fees and Financial Aid

KVPY: For all who get admission through KVPYINSPIRE SHE SCHOLARSHIP BY DST: You need to score above GPA 7.0 to continue the fellowship with no single F in any course, along with that now guidelines changed and accordingly list of students who are eligible to get scholarship prepared by DST which guidelines are not in public yet, but they consider all factors 12th percentage, marks in IISER Aptitude exam and also rank in jee advanced for those who get admission through jee channelOnce list is out, eligible students get INR 5000 per month, and a contingency of INR 20000 per year.

Campus Life

Library is one of the finest library in India, Lab equipments are available during initial research work but many of the experiment need to send to other labs many outside india, as some of the equipments are not available, along with sports facilites are very good, inter IISER Sports Meet happen every year. WIFI is of good quality but some of the unlucky students in hostels have poor speeds.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is must for all students enrolled for BS MS dual degreeThere is a shortage of hostels, so first two year you get room on double sharing and in third year single rooms are allocated, rooms are small to accommodate two students as they were made for single use only, all bathrooms get clean daily and workers will clear your room too after telling them to clean without any charge, wifi is good, hostel food is average but good.
