I got admission in IISER Mohali college because it was suitable for me for many purpose and it's situated in Punjab adjacent to Chandigarh and here's atmosphere is good for students and if you're really intelligent than you can get good PhD offers from foreign universities.
Course Curriculum Overview
All courses are designed in a very nice way and updated timely. Faculties are always ready to help you and very easily approachable. Faculties are very nice behaving and punctual. Many national competitions are organised and informed to students. Events are held regular. These are helpful for a student's exposure to various exams, research and competition.
Placement Experience
Institute is made to promote the basic Science in the country. So as per the requirement of agenda fulfilling placement panel is prohibited, but some students join the company as they do volunteering international during summer break. There is a higher chance of getting a Ph. D from other well-designated institutes in India as well as abroad because it's the purpose of IISER.
College Events
Institution is pro active in cultural activities. Insomnia is famous fest of institute. One can Google and find the details. And IISM game were held in different 7 institutions every year certificate of which is equivalent to national.
Campus Life
Marvelous well-furnished room with attached lat-bath & off course high-speed free Wi-Fi. Labs are also equipped with advance instruments and for a sports-loving or health conscious person, there's huge ground and necessary accessories for different games.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I have opted for hostel as it is compulsory to stay in Hostels. We stay two batchmates in the first two years of college. In third year, every student gets a single room. Room has attached balcony, bed, mattress, cupboard and study table.
