Remarks

I applied for the NMAT exam and NMIMS University. I took the NMAT exam. I gave three attempts. I cleared the sectional and overall cutoffs. My Overall score was 242, whereas the cutoff was 235. NMIMS doesn't have any reservation benefits. all students are treated as general candidates. I spent around 10k for all the applications related to NMAT attempts and NMIMS University

Course Curriculum Overview

I was always interested in doing MBA Core. I knew I didn't want to do Human Resources as it is a separate course, I didn't apply for it as well. Faculty would be nearly 50-70. Students would be 720 of both Core and HR

180 companies visit our college every year for summer internships. varied roles are offered in the college for different specializations like marketing, finance, general management, operations & data science

Placement Experience

First-year students attend the summer placement process from the 2nd trimester. Second-year students attend final placements from the 4th trimester. 18.45 lakhs was the average package of last year in our college

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee is 10.95 lakhs per annum. It is a one-time payment before the academic year begins. Not sure about the scholarship or financial assistance. We are on a non-disclosure agreement about the job we get on campus

Campus Life

We are doing MBA online as covid is going on. coming to clubs, there are around 23 clubs and committees. The college looks like a 5-star hotel from what I heard from my friends who went to college. Classrooms also look good

Interview Experience

The written test was adaptive. I had three sections. I had an orientation of the process. I had Group Discussion during the process and then Interview followed. There were 2 panelists. It was an extensive interview

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

i applied to symbiosis , du ,ip but choose nmims as it had a better placement record , reputation and rankings plus the real world corporate exposure. An NMIMS Insider's Guide

Eligibility for the course was the person should be from healthcare background that science and if not the person should have work experience of one or two years in the healthcare sector.
