Internship in IIT Delhi. Stipend was 7000 in a month. I was assigned a project on Digital Signal Processing.

We need not visit any companies. Instead they visited our campus. After that each company took three to five rounds to analyze our potential. Though the placement process was rigorous yet the department helped us a lot in grooming our skills. Whether you talk about technical or communication we were assisted by our placement department in a manner that we could easily crack the interviews.

After every year the college festivals were conducted by our management in which various events occur. The festival used to last for three days in which technical, cultural and management categories were taken care of. In the first few hours of the days technical and cultural events were conducted. But we always waited for the night because at that time famous singers like Sukhwinder Singh, Kanika Kapoor and other famous celebrities came and we use to get lost in those vibes. If one is willing to part in events like technical, cultural and management he/she has to give auditions before a week of the events.

I was eligible for scholarship in my first semester. The minimum threshold to get the scholarship was 8 CGPA. But unfortunately I was unable to clear further criteria. The reason is that my family income needs to be less than a lakh. Apart from this our admin department has loan facility by virtue of which lower class students may pursue the course they are interested in.

Our university was bang on. Beginning from sports to heading towards library the infrastructure holds the utmost potential to attract every age group working in our college. There were more than five basketball grounds two main fileds where we can play football, hockey and lawn tennis. Additionally the WiFi networks were brilliant offering speed more than 10 GBps. Even the libraries were well maintained. In total there were ten libraries having various kinds of books. For the first year students there were laboratories of chemistry and physics in which the necessary equipments to conduct experiments were present.

The hostel rooms were awesome. The sharing option was not there initially when I was in first semester. But later the option was there. Definitely it was not easy to afford hostel facility because the yearly charges were too high. That's why many of Shardians prefer to take bus facility or take PGs located outside the university
