Remarks

Research interests in science and scope for jobs in academics. There are not much colleges in india with focus towards research and academia. My college has interests in fields other than engineering and medical. I simply am not interested in engineering or medical and not many colleges in India have interests in research.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are different and from most of the institutions in India and focus on science. And we have some brilliant faculty and like every other college some faculty members are really bad.And since it is a research Institute, and I expect more than enough exposure to research projects, but not industrial exposure.I really like my college and courses being taught here.

Placement Experience

0.5

We don't have on campus placements. But we have very brilliant scope for Ph.D.And many of students go to abroad for pursuing a PhD. There is no startup in my knowledge but I know many students who have achieved really well in academics.

College Events

5

Campus life is really awesome. We all had to be a active member of atleast one club for the first year. And we have some good clubs here at IISER Mohali. Other than that in even semester we have a inter batch competition for many sports which includes football, cricket, basketball etc.
