Research environment is excellent also the environment is highly intellectual in IISER Mohali. People from all across India are there and also some international students in IISER Mohali. So, it gives you international exposure familiarise with people from all over the india.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am studying for great research facility and quality of teaching are excellent. Teachers are friendly and very helpful. And curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments in fields. And study here make you ready to face the world strongly.
Placement Experience
At present, I'm still studying in this college, and most of my seniors are doing their PhD in foreign countries. Some are at Max Plank, MIT etc. The course offered here is only useful for higher studies. If your aim is a job after the course, then IISER's is not for you. But, you can easily be a lecturer after the course and after writing the usual exams.
College Events
Campus life is best. There are all the activities. And all the students have to involve in at least one activities. And student and teachers are supportive. And location is very safe and it can very easily handle Emergencies
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I am not having any scholarship but majority of students have any scholarship like KVPY and INSPIRE Scholarship.
Campus Life
college infrastructure is very good and large. Hostels rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Classes are also good and spacious. WIFI were working good and laboratories were clean and food was hygienic and nutritional.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I am staying in Hostel no 5 of IISER Mohali as hostels are compulsory for every student. You can't stay outside of hostel. Beds, almirahs, study table, chairs and balcony is there in every room.
