I had to stay in my home town, which is Bhopal for some personal reasons. And IEHE is the best institute for English Literature education here, so I chose Institute for Excellence in Higher Education.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus lacks in certain areas as it is not in sync with UGC NET course at all. The topics taken barely serve the purpose for further education in the same subject. However, the faculties are good and have adequate knowledge of the subject.

Placement Experience
The placement from Institute for Excellence in Higher Education is decent. Companies that visit the campus for recruitment of Literature post graduates include radio stations (Radio Mirchi, My FM) and educational institutions for providing training to students.
College Events
IEHE holds two festivals ever year. One is the departmental fest and other the college fest. The departmental fest only involves the particular department and activities related to the same. The college fest has all sorts of cultural activities. The institute also has youth festival to promote talents.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got merit scholarship for two consecutive years. The scholarship is given to those who secure the highest marks in a particular discipline. I received 2000 rupees per academic year at Institute for Excellence in Higher Education.
Campus Life
Overall, the campus of my college is average in nature with WiFi, sports, and laboratory facilities. The library is decent in size, but does not have good books for students of English Literature specifically. Additionally, the washrooms are also not good.
