Remarks

IIM Ranchi is the 9th IIM in the league of IIMs. It is one of the fastest growing IIMs among new IIMs. The curriculum and academic rigour is no different from any older IIMs. The peer group is at par with any of the top B schools in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum has been designed to suit the industry requirements by the most experienced professors.The college offers live project opportunities to the students which provide them real-time experience and apply what they have learned to real-world scenarios and work within real constraints of resources, people factors and other organizational constraints.

Placement Experience

Placements are very good among new IIMs and seen a rapid growth from pas few years.PGP-HRM is having best placements at par with the normal PGP.

College Events

IIM Ranchi management fest is very famous among iims and it is called AGON. Hostel is located in National Sports Housing Complex, which were constructed for 2011 National Games held in Ranchi. Students get single accommodation bedrooms. Most of the rooms have attached washroom and balcony. Rooms provide a beautiful view of lush greenery surrounding the hostel.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
