The fact that it has the following things:1. It has overall less batch strength as compared to NITs/DTU/NSIT2. It has no region specific quota as compared to NITs so you get unbiased exposure. Also, one of my seniors guided me to prefer this college over the others while I was choosing the colleges to fill.

The curriculum has been designed in a way to promote practical knowledge via teaching in theory classes and practicing in tutorial sessions which are conducted by subordinates of professors which sometimes are took lightly.Faculties try to push you beyond limits and encourage understanding stuff over cramming. They listen to questions raised and answer logically instead of quoting a statement in a book or so.

The placement opportunities are out of question one of the best in the country with IIIT ALLAHABAD on an average expects a visit to various IT giants like Google, microsoft, accenture, Amazon etc. and others like Goldman Sachs, DE Shaw, etc. on campus for job offers. Anyone with the right skillsets can be rest assured to be a part of any of these companies in the onset of their career.

The fee structure is very light as compared to the other BTech colleges for general candidates. You have to pay around 8 lacs to the institute (including mess and accommodation) as of now which is very less as compared to Delhi based Govt. colleges or IITs even. For quota wise scholarships are provided the same as everywhere.There are scholarships based on only financial aids which comes under MERIT-CUM-MEANS where you have to classify a certain CGPI criteria and you get some aid under that.

Campus life is very vibrant in short. It's never boring out their. You would have the chance to join plethora of clubs and volunteer in campus hosted events where you would get the chance of learning social skills and enhancing your circle of contacts.The infrastructure is none than excellent including the pool table open to all and every society being assigned it's own room in Social activity center and much more in the inside. On the outside, it being placed at a remote destination from the main city does hinder a tiny bit in excitement.

Their is no interview process involved in selection. Only the ranks obtained in JEE MAINS and a minimum criteria of 12th Boards marks matters. The test is based on 12th Non medical stream syllabi.
