Remarks

I heard positives reviews about the college from my relatives & friends and in the internet too, so I joined the college. I approached the alumni and they gave me a positive resoponse. I checked out the college website for the labs, research work, faculty, MoUs, extracurricular activities etc. and found them to be decent enough.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I'm a born mechanical engineering aspirant, hence i took this course without any second thought. Faculty members are well-trained. They can teach you out of the box problems too. There are quite a handful of teachers, and they are PhD holders. All the teachers are good and strong at their respective subjects. The course curriculum is not relevant to the current world, but the blame goes to JNTUH. There is no proper focus on the current generation of technology.

Placement Experience

4

CSE and ECE students grab good jobs, and in the core, it primarily depends on the skillset. The highest salary package offered this year is 25 lpa , and the lowest salary package offered ranges between 2-3 lpa . The average salary offered is 5.5 lpa . Top recruiting companies like Cognizant, TCS, Range and TCS Ninja visit our college for placements. Range company visit our college to hire mechanical engineering students.A varying factor about my college is that, many get placed into a company regardless its salary offering. In AY 2021, around 1250 placements were achieved which is a milestone.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, fee was hiked from 95500 pa to 101500 pa. I dont receive any scholarship but my friends get it. During the pandemic time, when online classes were fresh for everyone, our college provided e-gadget assisantce. They gave money, sim cards, mobile phones for those who couldnt afford a new device or access interet for the classes

Campus Life

5

Campus life is amazong. I did not like the library, and books were worn out. There was an SC and ST book bank with new and current edition books, which I don't like. Fests are the worst. Our college organises an event named Zealotz, which our batch students did not experience. Hopefully, it would be conducted for your batch. Sports is also strong foundation of our college. For indoor sports we have an auditorium in which high class equipments are installed, gym included. The pond in our college is a differentiating factor, where we could go boating. Activities such as MUN, Debate etc happen every now and then.

EAMCET - 21617 in 2018

Admission

For the admission, since it is an autonomous college under JNTUH, during the counselling I gave my details to board (the process is same for everyone who gave EAMCET and would prefer to get an admission into a state college) and the board alloted me the college depending on my rank.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester, you are well eligible for placements. Various company's and firms get into some famous like Amarchand and so on. As an intern, you are not getting that big salary offers but you get a good and sustainable amount of money for work. I think the highest package was offered as 18lac per annum and the majority stick to 13 14 lakhs. 100% of students get placements if they have performed well in every semester. I've decided to work one year as a clerk with a judge and then on to do my master's in law from abroad.
