Entrance Preview

I gave Jee Mains and scored 210 out of 360 with an overall rank of 7096. I chose Mechanical Engineering at MNNIT because this is one of the best college of ME in India and moreover it was also near to my current residential address.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is decent and just like other NITs in India. In First year we all have to study common subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Maths, etc.But from second year onwards the subjects are branch specifics.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides stipend for internship and it varies according to the project. For research projects it is around 30-35 thousands rupees. The placements are also good. For mechanical many companies like L&T, maruti suzuki, bajaj, caterpillar, etc comes and the average package is around 6.5 lakhs per annum with maximum around 12-13 lakhs per annum.

Exam Structure

The schedule is quite strict and hectic. We have lectures on a subject 3 times a week and a practical of 3 hours every week.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

One of the important reasons for choosing this college is because of its unique and brilliant placement records. and also it is one of the best NIT in North. Basically I want a college that is not much distant from my state Haryana and should be good also and this alligns perfectly with my scenarios. Talking about the admission process, first you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank like for CSE your rank be between 1K to 9K . If you want to take admission in this college irrespective of any branch you rank should be under 30K. But this data is not fixed , it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of JEE Mains. and then apply for the JOSSA councelling and there you can keep this college in your choice an dif your rank is good enough, you will get it.
