I choose Galgotias college of Engineering and technology because placements are good and the college is near to my hometown.The college provides good academics and cultural events also. I get better career opportunities here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus was according to UPTU, Lucknow and it was not so upto date although changes are being made accordingly. And we get to visit around 2 industrial visits and understand the industrial culture and how they work. Faculty is also good and supporting i remember my Ajeet Kumar Bharti, Bhawna Malik, Manish Singh.
Placement Experience
The Placement drives starts from 7th semester and mostly students are placed in Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant by the starting of the final year and then for students who are still not placed gets the opportunity to sit in other in campus placement drives from companies like Byju's HSBC, cevent, HCL, IBM, etc. Alumni network is also strong so students can also take help from their seniors.
College Events
The campus life is very cool in Galgotias because the campus looks so beautiful at night. There are so many events going all the time such as technical, cultural, and fest every year and then there are so many club activities in which students can participate.Sometimes celebs come too for promotions and as guest in fest. The fest is so big that almost more than half of greater Noida students come.
Campus Life
The infrastructure in Galgotias college is quite good. The labs are well equipped and maintained and for sports there are proper ground and courts for football basketball, badminton, volleyball, etc. The library is fully air conditioned and wi-fi accesable.
