National Institute of Technology, Warangal is one of the premier institutes funded by the government of India. The institute ranked at 19th position in 2020 rankings by NIRF ranking. NIT Warangal is a reputed engineering institute across India. Placements are great. NIT Warangal is ranked 4th among the top 5 NITs in India. Extracurricular activities are great.

The faculty are great, the students and seniors are helpful too. The level of exam difficulties is medium. The environment for the student is great for the student. The level of research is also good.

Placements are average. In our time placements are affected by corona but all is well. If you know about the things then you can get placement easily. Mostly, the placement cells are performing well. We can say all the placements are average.

Fee structure are scheduled according to govt rules. And all state and central level scholarship is available for student aid. You can easily apply for the scholarship. All the staff are also helping you to get the scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life at NIT Warangal is very good. You need to cycle everyday for classes and mess. The weather here is very much hot (Uduku ekkipothadi - in telugu). Everyday, you will have a good amount of exercise. I reduced around 10 Kgs by staying at hostel for around 1 year. And now coming to friends. We had a gang of 6. We used to read, play badminton and carroms and enjoy a lot. When exams come, we used to have group study. Life was good. I was new to hostel (first time). I managed well with my timings to wakeup and to get ready. I stay at hyderabad. So travelling between warangal and hyderabad was a matter of 2-3 hours. This was my campus life at NIT Warangal.

Based on the entrance exam IIT Jam you can easily get admission in M.Sc Tech without any interview and group discussion. And other courses also you can get on the basis of entrance exam like JEE Main.

There are placements in our college,we get placement training from our 5th semester and in 7th semester we are eligible for the campus placements, the highest package they mentioned was 60lpa. Over the placements are good and you need to get 65% in your exams for the eligibility of campus placements

The College placements will be available eligible for the students of 4th-year 1st semester there is a number of companies visited almost 100 companies like TCS Infosys for exam and there is a highest package of 40 lacks per annum and average package 6 lakhs per annum and there is a placement of about 98 percentage and my plan is after getting the degree is to get a job in a multinational company

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester, you are well eligible for placements. Various company's and firms get into some famous like Amarchand and so on. As an intern, you are not getting that big salary offers but you get a good and sustainable amount of money for work. I think the highest package was offered as 18lac per annum and the majority stick to 13 14 lakhs. 100% of students get placements if they have performed well in every semester. I've decided to work one year as a clerk with a judge and then on to do my master's in law from abroad.

Pros and cons of nitw

I choose this college over other college because of the placements and I heard from someone that we will get too much opportunities from here and we are getting it One of the reason is I wanted to go away from home .
